PROLINKLAB ACADEMY ("PROLINKLAB," "we," "us," or "our") operates prolinklabacademy.com and related digital products, courses, and communication channels (together, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and what rights are available to you under applicable law, including Cameroon's Law No. 2024/017 on the Protection of Personal Data and, where relevant to visitors outside Cameroon, comparable regional data protection standards.

By visiting our website, purchasing a product, joining a course, or interacting with our WhatsApp, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, or email channels, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Services.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

• Identity data: full name and, where relevant, business or brand name.
• Contact data: email address, WhatsApp number, phone number, and country or city of residence.
• Account and enrolment data: usernames, course progress, affiliate ID (if you join our affiliate program), and communication preferences.
• Payment-related data: billing name, transaction reference, and payment method type. We do not directly store full card numbers, mobile money PINs, or bank credentials. These are collected and processed by our payment partners (see Section 4).
• Content you submit: testimonials, messages, support requests, comments, and any other material you send us through WhatsApp, email, or on-site forms.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Usage data: pages visited, time spent on the site, referring links, and general navigation patterns.

• Confirmation of successful payments from processors such as Selar, Flutterwave, Paystack, Payoneer, and mobile money operators.

• Payment processors and platforms: Selar, Flutterwave, Paystack, Payoneer, and mobile money operators, solely to process your purchase and verify payment.

• Hosting and infrastructure providers that store or process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
• Legal and regulatory authorities, where required by law or court order, or where necessary to protect our legal rights.
• A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, provided that the successor honors this Policy.

We do not share your data with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes without your explicit consent.

5. International Data Transfers

Some of our service providers, including payment processors, email tools, and hosting infrastructure providers, operate outside Cameroon. Where your data is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure that it receives a comparable level of protection, consistent with the cross-border transfer provisions of Law No. 2024/017 and the contractual safeguards of the providers we use.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, including legal, accounting, and reporting requirements. Course access and purchase records are generally retained for the lifetime of your account or as required by Cameroonian commercial and tax law. You may request deletion of your data, subject to the exceptions in Section 8.

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, understand how visitors use the site, and support advertising and retargeting where applicable. 9. Children's Privacy

Our commercial Services are intended for individuals aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18 through our website or paid products. If we learn that a minor has provided personal data to us through the commercial Services without appropriate consent, we will delete it promptly.

10. Data Security

We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures, including access controls, secure hosting, and reliance on payment processors that maintain their own PCI-compliant security standards, to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
